I have always hated the game Solitaire. I thought it was the most boring game to play and I would always call it the "Nigel game", especially when many people I knew would spend hours in front of the computer screen addicted to the game. With all honesty, the reason why I probably hated it so much was because I never knew how to play, nor taught myself or bothered to read the rules.
So I finally thought it was time to see what the fuss was about and to see if the power of this game would entice like so many other people around the world.
I went onto a website which explained the rules of Solitaire. It didn't seem too complicated and I caught on reasonably well and quite quickly. I went to another website and started to play the game. I played a few times, but could not actually win. It was harder than I thought and more complicated than what it seems.
I realised that the game wasn't just about clicking cards here and there but there is some logic behind the card playing. And most of all I wanted to win a game.
Now I am not addicted but as soon as I finish writing this blog entry I have going to go back and replay my game to see if I can win. I might even see if there is an app for my Iphone.
School holidays are coming up soon, I am sure I can master this game in now time at all.
